gun values? PICS ADDED ON LAST POST

how do I find out the value of several guns I recently inherited?

Upon computer searching they look to me like-
Bayard 1908 pistol
Mauser WWII era pistol
Walther P38 WWII era pistol

all have some more/less rust from laying around in leather holsters, no care given to them etc.

I either intend to sell them or if not worth much will clean them up for a proper display at home.

Thanks, never did this before so I am not even sure where/how to start and don't want to get ripped off if they are valuable.

thanks PA for those sites but I have already been looking on them.

My question is more towards how do I estimate the value of these guns with the rust, etc. as they are not in excellent shape?

Take them to your local gunshop, most have a blue book on gun values and they may be able to sell them for you if you have no interest in them. :D    JIM

If you are thinking of selling them, why not take some pictures and post them on the For Sale Board or here and we can access the damage and give you some pointers on how to clean them whilst retaining their value.

Good idea!

I will post some pics here so you can see the condition that they are in and give me some pointers.  I have also located someone here in town who will look at them for me to determine the damage.

Here are the pics, sorry the lighting was so bad. I think they are:   Bayard 7.65 cal.;P38 Walther; Mauser 7.65 cal.I am not sure if the lighting really shows the pitting or rust but it was the best i could do.  Any help identifying these and determining if I should refinish and how to proceed would be helpful.  Thanks.
