Mad Dog, I have one and love it. I use it for the purposes you stated - it is well made and has worked well for me. I admit I am not much of a benchrester, so please don't ask what size groups it shoots. It is off the scale in the fun factor catagory, 'tho. It shoots whatever I stuff in the chamber - military or commercial - is dependable as an anvil, handy as a pocket on a shirt, and is more fun than a circus poney.
