There are otters on my trapline.I put a 330 with fish on it yesterday and they ate the fish off the trap with out steeting it off.I replaced with another 330 that sets off easer.I have  2 snares for them and they ignored them.I have a 3 dls and the otters are going in the beaver house and all I got today was a few hairs. How can I get thses otters. There are about 4 of them there.

Put your 330's in the under water runs or channels, the hole to the beaver lodge, beaver dam cross over and where the otters pullout at there toilet. Your #3DLS I would put at the toilet, beaver dam cross over or a land cross over.Make sure you have it on a drowner cable tho.And make sure these sets are legal in your state.OF COURSE you have to have these types of locations to set.
As for snares "IF" you cant get the otter under water to drown it.You wont hold it.
I just came up with a snare that will hold a otter on land .It will be on the market this convention season. Also I will be doing Mink and Otter snaring demo's at the FTA and NTA Conventions this year. season.
