Hodgdon Annual Manual
« on: December 29, 2005, 04:34:51 PM »
The Hodgdon Annual Manual has hit the newstands. In the article section of the manual, there is a question and answer session supposely with Bob Milek doing the answering.  Most will probably remember Bob was dead ten years before the first Annual Manual was published!, which I guess would be okay if they were old question and answers, but Bob supposely referred the person with the question to the Hodgdon Annual Manual. I emailed Hodgdon and the reply stated that he had to  read the article..then he checked up on the situation.  Seems they get their articles from the Primedia folks..and seems someone used "poetic" licenses to speak for Bob!  The guy at Hodgdon said I was the first to notify them, but in his opinion I wouldn't be the last.  I just thought the whole situation was funny. Bob Milek is probably the reason I reload and shoot Contenders!

It willbe the 2006 version.  I haven't gotten mine yet, but will be looking for it.  It is a very good source of info.  I just hope they have the indo on the .25 WSSM.  I am having a hard time finding any good loads for the full spectrum (75gr to 120gr).

I did mange to bag a nice doe at 180 yards across a field with it.  It worked as advertized.  Meat is in the freezer now.

It hit the newstands here(just south of Memphis) the week after Christmas.  Don't know why they call it an Annual Manual when they only print them every two years.  I believe MidwayUSA has them.

They apparently did print some in 2005, a number of posters here said they have it.  I never found a copy though....   :(
