nickel Platedrifle cases and lubalox
« on: December 31, 2005, 03:21:14 AM »
I was given several boxes of winchester supreme ammo for christmas loaded with winchester ballistic tips. I have heard that if you don't shoot them from a perfectly clean barrel acccuracy will be hell. While I'm not to worried about their accuracy since I plan to really shoot them as part of my rifles break in I had heard that cleaning out the lubalox coating was a real pain in the a##. I was also told that nickel plated rifle case were very hard on reloading dies and that I should avoid using them. Just seems a shame to throw away so many.
