Washington State feral hogs

I've heard about feral hogs in the Olympic Range of Washington state. But I don't know anyone who has hunted them or who has any info. Anyone here have first hand knowledge or knows more about them?
Carry a gold pan when you hunt and you may get lucky anyway.

There were some reports in Fishing & Hunting News a few years back, but I never saw any.

Most of the other people I talked to did not see any either. I think there might have been a few that were quickly exterminated by locals.

My suspician is that them little snorters prefer a warmer climate.  That's probably one of the reasons why they are thick as fleas on a dog's back along the central CA coast.
