I was invited on a guided bowhunt in Alabama
« on: January 01, 2006, 06:41:20 PM »
When I arrived home from work on Thursday 12/29 I had a message on my machine from a rep at Ben Pearson Archery.

I returned the call on my way to the office on Friday.  The man I spoke with informed me that I had been selected to go on a fully guided Southern Deer Hunt from 1/20 - 1/23/06 in Alabama.  I was selected because I had entered a contest to design a bow and the name I had picked was the name that they used(Stealth).  Of course three other people has also picked that name.

I won't be able to go to Alabama for the hunt though.  Work commitments will not allow the time.  It is year end work during the entire month of January and we are working mandatory Saturdays...You have to be dead to get a day off in Jan.  So, I will be sitting home dreaming of going hunting during the height of the rut in Alabama.

Oh well, there is always next years contest to win.  I'd rather have won the bow instead of a hunt but that's life...

So...Tell me what I am missing out on... :(

PS - Here's a pic of the bow that I helped name...

Hate to hear you can't go.  I must ask why are you not calling and asking if BP will give you a bow ???  Seems it would be cheaper than the trip and you wouls get SOMETHING.
