I want to use the factory holes for mounting. Hopefully I'll pick up a two piece weaver base and scope before to long.and pattern my new cannon soon. I don't remember seeing anyone with this set up before. Any body got a pic?

This just might be what you are looking for.

That is if I can get it to show. It might take me a few tries.

Not sure of scope or mounts used in this set-up.

Try a search of the archives if it's working. I just remembered I had this pic saved on my hard drive.

Not sure if nycamoman is even an active member anymore.

Mounts might be Weaver #14,s, as I recall them being mentioned in other threads.

Hope this helps. Cool set-up at least!

Hey marcus i have this set up, but I cant remember the number for the weaver mounts. The people at nef can tell you from the top of their head though. Thats where I got my info from. Any how I have a bsa 42mm red dot on top of mine with a kicks goblin thunder {680} .A true 45 yarder  without a doubt. Ill look in my box and see if I can find the number for the mounts. Talk with ya soon.

Found the emty packs . You will need two weaver #19 mounts, a red dot or a pistol scope and alot of pain killer!! That should get ya going. Anything else just holler and Ill try and help. Good luck and

I think the mounts are no.19. I have'nt been able to find any locally. I guess I'll have to order some. I doubt I'll even get to it for this coming season. Thanks for posting the pic at least I have an idea of what it will eventually look like.

Presdme, thanks for the clarification on the mount size number. I was just working from memory.

Just for the record, I plan on using my 10 with just the bead for turkeys this Spring.

Range-time plus scouting and a bit of luck and I'll have some pics to post for you guys.

I have the sb2 ultra slugger in 12 gauge. The factory told me I could not use the bead on the 10 gauge turkey barrel because of the monticarlo stock, makes your head to high, they were right. So if you have the sb2 ultra slugger better be looking around for something to mount on that barrel. Hope you avoid any suprises. Good luck and
