WHICH AK 47 IS CLOSEST TO THE RUSSIAM AMDE. CAN YOU GET A RUSSIAN MADE SEMI AUTO???

The Russian made Saiga is an AK47 in a sporter wrapper it comes in 7,62x39, .223 and 308win/nato. There is a site which they explain how to do a pistol grip/stock conversion if you don't like the sporter look. It has a chromed lined bore and chamber and its more accurate than its AK brother. There do to be imported again soon but there are some used and new ones still around.

Just build it your self..

My 1950's Russian AKS Type-III expensive yea but worth every penny

or you can get a Maddi , Saiga, or Verper

patm41; Is that full auto? select-fire? sweet!!!! Is that an AK pistol? There is a yugo like that and its called an AK pistol.

The boat load of brand new saiga's is here and we should be seeing them by the 1st to the mid of Feb. thats the word i hear. I can't wait to see what they imported. I hope we see the saiga sporter in 7,62x54r soon thats going to rock!!!

no its not select fire.. its a kit that i built..
Kit was bought from Sportsmans Guide a couple years ago, and the reciever is a FiringLine MLS99 milled ..

The finish on the rifle is origional blued i matched the reciever as close as i could,, the wood is also origional , not sanded or anything,, just cleaned

This type III is over 50 years old and i wanted to preserve the classic
old look to it..

No its not a pistol
