neighborliness and helping
« on: January 03, 2006, 10:50:35 AM »
Thanks a bunch, I really mean that.  Sent in a trouble ticket and you guys answered it faster than I could say "...bore clear..." I do appreciate it.  Living here in "the peoples' Republic of Massachusetts" it does get a little lonely once and a while when I want to "tech talk"; ya'll provided a forum for that.  When I try to talk guns and relaoding with "civilians" [my prejudice is showing here spent 36 years in theNavy] people here, if you're talking to the wrong person, look at you with more than a little hostile indifference.  Sometimes I sit back and say to myself:
"...dang?!!!!!!!! ya'll mean the Revolutionary War really started here?!!!!..."
Folks here "abouts" have asome awfully strange notions about fundamental liberty and human responsibility, at least they do to this old Kansas country boy retired CPO.  Ya' know: beautiful scenery, good hunting, fishing to cry about, the ocean five minutes away, and sometimes more than is comfortable for me some really strange folks, go figure.  Don't let it all throw you though, in western Mass. and rural Vermont it's kiinda' like Kansas with mountains.  I love it out there.
Well thanks again

:D , Welcome aboard Chief, I understand your frustration with the liberal bias in this, the left wing socialist bastion of the Kennedy's (we won't even mention that turn-coat John "?-ing" Kerry). What part of the "People'sRepublic" are you from? Being 5 minutes from the shore you may perhaps be in my locale, the forsaken sand spit called Cape Cod. If so and you want to talk Handi's, shooting, hunting, guns, or even fishing let me know....<><....
