Thanks for the heads up........ I'll have to do my best to catch it.

After seeing the History Channel show I'm going to have to go back and visit with my Dad's best buddy who has claimed to see a Bigfoot.

God Bless,

Will Do! :D   The old fella is getting close to 90 so these are from a while back........ the one story that I do know I believe took place back when they were building the dams up on the Missouri.  Before I give any details, (it's been over 20 years since I heard the story) I will give him a holler.  My father told me though that he thinks Alfred has had at least 2 sightings.  Dad also told me a few more details on odd happenings that took place when I was a kid.  He didn't tell us all the details back then as not to scare us kids.........  :-D

Will pass those along later as well........

Hi guy`s :D

I just finished watching the program. It was OK, I was maybe expecting to much, like perhaps a couple of photos of Bigfoot . But all in all it was an interesting program. At least they didnt try to make a bunch of fools out of everybody, like they sometimes do.

Hi Y'all,
:D My thoughts of tonights' show was still good.
Didn't prove/disprove. Just left you wondering.
Which can be good in a way. Maybe more will get involved,to find out
if it exists,or not.
At least, it was good for open minded people.
But, how can you discount all of the sightings from the 1800's ? No one
had the time or the gumption, to do hoaxes like now. If we were back in the 1800's,you know what would have happened. The hoaxter would have been shot. No if's and's or but's about it. And, no idiot "autopsy" to find the cause of death.Would have been very plain to see: lead poisoning. And
blood loss. DUH !
The American Indians have had their stories, dating before the white eyes.

Your right about the early sightings before statehood in most cases. 45454 :D

I had alittle more time to reflect on the documentary last night and it was very good. At first I was a little disappointed that there was not more prove brought out. But the Texas BFRO, is still hunting and have the courage to have it documented, and take the risk of ridicule.
I thought it also was very safety minded, in that the person in the monkey suit, did have hunters orange around his wrist, and neck, and it appeared the from of his suit was also sprayed in hunters safety orange. A very safety effort to keep the actor from being shot from some unknown hunter that may happen upon the filming of the documentary. :-D .
The picture of an skookape, that was presented, from the hunter in Florida, was very interesting. Even though the picture was at a good distance, you could see the tall skinny outline of the animal.
All in all, a good show, and perhaps, their will be more coming like this one. It appears the public is very interested in these type of documentaries including me and I have heard that their are a couple of bigger ,Bigfoot hunting groups, that are going to try and do their own shows.

For all of you that missed this show, the travel channel will probably air the show again Sat, or Sun. That what they usually do. I know I`ll be waiting to watch it again.

:D Bulletmaker,me bud :D ,
Yeah,on one website,it does have the Indians stories.
Were translated into English. I think it was on the site in Washington state.
It would take a lot of time to find it,but one guy disappeared in the 50's.
Was with a group when he disappeared.never found his body,as I recall.
It was a newspaper article.
IF I can find it,I'll link it here.Just a LOT   of stuff to wade through.
All I can remember about the website was, it's a plain-jane.IE: no heavy
graphics.Some drawings.
Been tempted to go to Willow Creek.Would take about 5-8 hours of drive time. Would have to take I-5 North.IF I or...we did go, would leave Modesto about 1:00/2:00AM,just to avoid the heavy traffic in Sacramento.
And get there about 8/9:00AM.
Guess, I'll start.Got some other goodies from the Travel Channel as well.
They are on "Weird Travels". Got enough to keep us busy all month !

Hi Bulletmaker !! :D  :D ,
Been wading through hundreds of websites. I sure wouldn't want to do the
OVER 8 million sites    . Hipwaders do no good.
the waders were starting to fill up.
The one site that comes very close:
http://www.rfthomas.clara.net/bigfoot.html
I don't know IF this could be the same one,or re-vamped.
It does have the old story.I was wrong on the date.
Think this will have to do. There was one, that seemed familiar.Clicked,
then to the 'net providers' website. This one, does no longer exist.
Hope this one helps ya ! :D Best I could do, without spending all night
and 48 hours afterwards.

Hiya Bigfoot Hunters :D ,
Oh, forgot to say "Thank you" Bulletmaker !! :D ,
OK, after doing some more,i FINALLY found it !
http://bigfootencounters.com/
This is what I was looking for.
Including the skier,Jim Carter, who vanished, at or near Ape Canyon.
The same area, that not many years ago, the miner's incident took place.
There's many (mucho) articles.
My search is over !
Guys, enjoy !!
Ok,here's more to Jim Carter:
Go to the left, scroll down a tad. You'll see "Newspaper and magazine articles". Click on this.
Next,is the articles.Scroll down a ways.When you see"Georgia's Swamp Ape",look directly across. The article will say"Washington,Ape Canyon
Mystery 1962". This is about Jim Carter. The S+R people never did find him.
Still on the left, there is "The Classics".One goes back to the early 1800's.
The other one, late 1800's.

Thanks 45454 :D

I well check it out, and I was looking for that Jim Carter story for someone else, now I know where to go to read the whole detail. Their is a theory, that a Bigfoot had chased him, and he is either buried beneath the snow, or the animal carried him away, if I remeber, they never found his body. I`ll go read the articule now. Thanks :D

Hi Again Bulletmaker :D ,
Yep, the S+R people never found his body.
See my post on 2:16 AM. Will guide you right to it.
The S+R people, one, was getting "spooked". He said he felt like someone was watching him.
I've been trying to find the website with pics. You know, the ones where you go through a series of "warnings" ? Pics of deer, and calves ?
Trying to backtrack. It is so much fun, that my eyes are almost crossed !
Was going to send the link over to Bobbie Short. The one at
