can anyone tell me where i could find (original) parts for this gun ?
me and my son are putting this back together for his grandfather. we need

38-40 barrell
magazine tub
magazine spring
magazine plug
main spring

any help would be mostly appreciated !!
i know that there alot of good repos. but we really want this one to be original..thanks for any help..jeff..

You might try Numrich Arms, Weidners or Brownells.   :-)

You can get the original barrel relinesd at Redman's in OR.

i have finely found the parts ive been searching for, now we are ready to put her back together..
all parts are original 1873 38-40, now the question is can anyone tell me who i can get to install the barrell, or is there any info on how to do this ourself..
i am realy excited about what the parts that i got they are in very good shape and look forward to getting it back together for my sons grandfather..his grandfather got this gun when he was a young boy and someone before he got it had butcherd it , they had cut the barrell back to 14 inches, and cut the stock down aswell. now we have everything we need to put her back the way she was made.. any and all help will be very much appreciated....thanks jeff
