I should be getting me a 15 inch 308 encore barrel in the next few days.
has anyone used cast bullets for this round and lenth of barrel?
I most likley will not hunt anything with it but paper out to around 100 yards or so.
I already load for my savage model 10 fple2 in 308 and use 165 gr remington bulletsso I am all set up to load for this round, but I do not want to pay lots of money just to punch holes in paper if cast bullets will work as well in this barrel.
