How do you tell if straight wall cases have the end of their
« on: January 08, 2006, 08:13:27 AM »
use?

I have just started reloading for the my Redhawk 5 1/2 inch revolver and would like to know how I can tell if my cases are going bad. I have a bunch of 44 mag cases I have collected over the years and have reloaded some. From rifle reloading the 30-06 class cases I have learned to pick probe the case head to avoid head seperation. Is this a problem in straight wall cases. I'd hate to have one come apart in my revolver.

Thanks,
