I was at Wally World the other night and they had a stainless 10/22 with a 22" barrel in the rifle stock. Anybody else seen this model?

They have been out for several years now----had mine over a year now myself.

That is one of the last Wally World specials around------if you think its what you want---BUY IT NOW----because they aren't making them anymore.

Well, that shows you how often I get to Wally World. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the tip.  I saw one of those at my local Walmart, so now I'll have to go check it out.

I saw your post about the clearance Model 70 Winchester too.  I was able to find one at my local Walmart, but it was not in the case.  I asked an employee if they had one and he found it locked up in the back room...not out in the case.  I'm guessing that's why it had not sold yet.

I picked up a Beretta 390 for $299 last year when I got a tip from another forum.

How can the average guy (who doesn't work at Walmart) find out about those deeply discounted clearance deals?

Do you know of any other great Walmart bargains out there right now?

Thanks

Moonlitin

My .30-06 was in the back too-----I got off work on a sunday afternoon----wound up in the sporting goods section and just asked the guys if they had any more deals----this was shortly after buying my Fausti cheap too----the Fausti was displayed in the case---no sale tags---no fanfare----just sittin there with a yellow tag on it----that just happened to be marked way down.

He goes oh we have a .270 or .30-06 something like that in the back----I ask how much---like $225 or so----more than I was looking to spent on anything----but let me see it anyway.

Brings out the Model 70 and scope package----I was expecting a Savage or one of those cheap Mossberg rifles----nope a Winchester with scope----was floored when I saw the $150 price tag----give it the once over----I'll take it------figured if anything ---I could trade it for more than that.

Generally the discount doesn't work for clearance items---but I tried it anyway----cha-ching----another $15 comes off---so took home a Model 70 with scope for $135 plus tax-----bought on the spot------just a matter of being at the right place at the right time.

Checked on the scope----Cabella's is selling that scope for $50 by itself.
