Light weight stable climber

Any suggestions for a light weight climber with the following characteristics: Stable - the seat doesn't move when you stand up
                       Low weight - under 25lbs.
                        Quiet - seat doesn't make noise when you move
                        easy to climb - has something to use for the foot pull    
instead of straps.
                        front rest - has a gun rest in front
and costs under $300.

I would guess the two most popular are Summit and API....I have 2 APIs...
They have two advantages over the Summits that I have seen...One they have a padded shooting rail that can be taken off...Summit used to have a V-type shooting rest...I didn't like it and don't see it offered in Bass Pro anymore....Another advantage with a API that I have found...you can easily lock it to the tree....and still climb with it....Just buy 4 long shank locks and replace the pins that go through the roller chain with....I left one  around a tree all season, I share this stand with a buddy, that way either one of us could use throughout the season...Good luck

I love my Summit Viper - Haven't had others but I can tell you that Summit viper is awesome!! Rock solid and so comfy I can sit for hours in it.

I have an API but it has straps for the feet... i don't have any problem with them but it can takes some fiddling in the rain or snow... particularly if they freeze flat.

Try Loggy Bayou tree stands.  When you climb up the tree you then strap the seat to the tree and the stand WILL NOT MOVE.  You can walk around the stand (even behind the stand) and it stays put.  Total weight is about 17 pounds.
