I've been trying to find the title of a movie I saw years ago. All I can recall is a color scene with a buffalo hunter on a side hill loading big cartridges into what was likely a Sharps sidehammer, buffalo dropping, and a very pale Appaloosa (or black and white pinto). I can't remember any actors, outside of the fact they were people I recognized - that's quite a few actors, I'm 58. :?
It's not "The Last Hunt", saw that over the weekend. Any thoughts, or better memory than mine?
Single shot fever's kicking in again, will probably sell my Doug Turnbull 50-110 Mod 71 Browning and pickup another Browning 1885 45-70 (or Winchester or Uberti) and either have it rebored and rechambered to 50-110 or rebarrel it with a Green River 50 Sharps blank ... unless somebody wants to sell or swap a nice 50-110 single shot.
