Hey guys :D

I didnt know where else to put this post, so I thought I`d put it here, and see if any RV people read this. I`m considering, buying a class C, RV, in the near future. Just wondering if anyone had an oponion as to the best for their bucks. Not looking for a new one, don`t got that many bucks :-D , but in the neighbor hood of a 2002-2005 model.

thanks

If you have not RV'd before I would suggest renting one first.  You may find it is an awful lot of money to have sitting in a driveway for something used less than 30 days a year.  Plus think of all the problems you can have with a house, that does not move, and all the problems you can have with a vehicle and now you have all of them in one thing.

You could spend $15000 on an RV or you could spend 100 nights in a hotel at $150 per night.  Plus there is no upkeep, taxes, insurance, storage, license, or monthly payments to make.

Bullet Maker, I don't own a Class C Rv, but if you go to RV.Net they have a forum there that can answer all your questions. I have camped for 45 yrs and I use a travel trailer and pull it with a diesel pickup. Hope the forum can help you. Carl L.

Hey Carl l, and guy`s :D

Well, I bought me a travel trailer. Its a 2006 Surveyor, 17ft, got 3 burner stove top, central heat and air, toilet, and shower, microwave, and AM-FM DVD player, refigerator, and sink, to do the dishes :-D its made by forest river up in IN.---www.forestriveraccessories.com , purched it here at Dave`s Claremore RV in Claremore, Okla, for $11,500.00. Figured, I could camp at any RV park, unload it, go sightseeing, and then come back and sleep and eat :-D
I pick it up this Friday,

Bullet Maker, Congratulations on the new trailer. I thing you did the right thing going to a small trailer first. You can pull this trailer with about anything. Me I started out with a tent, pop-up and then to travel trailers. This way if you like camping and stay with it, you can get something bigger later on if you need to.

Keep us posted how the camper does and some of your camping trips turn out. Carl L.
