I tried to search 'float barrel' to see if its a common mod? I just took my brand new .204 handi to the shop today and i put an o-ring on it and started with some sand paper opening up the channel as it had bad barrel contact even with the o-ring. I kept sanding and tightening etc. and it was amazing how much material actually got removed before i was done. I'd have to do a bunch more if i didn't use the o-ring also.
Not sure if this is necessary or not but it seemed logical to me and only took a few minutes. I use a bi-pod alot and don't want any barrel contact ahead of that screw. Am i wasting my time along this line of thinking with these guns or not?

p.s. thanks for the tips on the 'extractor', will try to shoot it this weekend and see 1. if she groups, 2. if i think i'll get used to the 'extractor' and 3. if she's any fun :wink: , will post my results
