Guys:

We appreciate the outpouring of support for us and as a result have decided to stay on as moderators here for now. A few will be upset at this, but they are just going to have to make the best of it, and try to get along.

Over the next few weeks, there are going to be some changes made on the rules of this forum, specifically dealing with which behavior is no longer going to be tolerated. Again, there will be some who feel this isnÂ’t the right thing to do, but in the interest of maintaining the peace here we feel that some changes are needed, and they will just have to accept it or not. If those who choose to ignore forum policy continue to do so, they will deal with GBO management.

Graybeard has said this before, and we feel it is needed to be said again.” Play nice or be gone” It’s time we move forward and not live in the past, we need to do this for the sake of the NEF Centerfire forum and start with a clean slate.

From this point on, no reference will be made to past incidents; the hatchet is buried as of now!! We donÂ’t need a Hatfield vs. McCoy feud going on forever, letÂ’s just get back to what we like, discussing Handis!!!

We cannot and will not allow any of the past fighting and bickering to continue. This is still the best outdoor forum on the net, and too many people come here and visit each day expecting the best, only to get a rehash of the old H & R Talk instead.

We understand there are always going to be disputes between members. This is always the way of discussion forums. Everyone is entitled to state their opinions, as long as they donÂ’t violate any of the forum rules. We ask that you act like gentlemen when they do and allow us to deal with those who choose to violate forum policy.

If anyone has a question regarding this, please feel free to PM either of us to discuss it.

That's a good decision, one that is the best of the forum and its members!  :D

If there are problems in the future, it would be well for those who can't get along to take the advice of the old song, "Hit the road Jack, and don't ya come back no mo'"!   :shock:

I am glad you guys are back and I for one feel any sign of any disrespect shown by anyone that the easy button be used as Grey Beard said. After all this forum is about Handi Rifles and ofcourse some good fellowship. Today is a better day, thanks again Mac and Quick.
