Yes, where I hunted this year, in most places 30 yards would be about the limit, and 75 to 100 yards would be possible in the more open hardwoods. That's why this ammo really doesn't do much for me.......I want something that hits hard where I don't have to trail though the blackberry brambles and low pine thickets. Remingtons 200 grain corelots in my .35 are just the ticket for my type hunting. I'd use the 45-70, but like the smaller more compact 336 in the tight, tangled stuff.
I'll probably buy a box or 2 if the price is the same as standard loads just to see if I'm missing anything....... Thanks for the update......
