I have used Unique with the 170s in a Smith M58 some years ago. Don't have the load here at work but it was a pretty good one as I remember, hard to go wrong with Unique for this application.
Might look at Hodgdon's newer powders, Titegroup (9.2 gr max), Universal (10.3 gr Max)and Longshot (12.5 gr max) also. I have not used them in the .41 but the data in Hodgdon'd manual shows they may work well for your intended use also. Velocities are in the 1470 to 1646 fps range with Hodgdon's 10" test barrel so velocities should still be respectable from your 3" revolver. Let us know if you try them and the results.
