I am going to raise the fees for the local match that I run, and was wondering what other matches charged per 40 round match, with the shooters setting the targets.
We have been charging $6 per 40 round match, with ½ the fee going back as prize money. We have two 40 round matches with a break in between. The fee has not increased in the last 8-10 years, and it may be longer. We are going to need to make improvements to the range in the future, and I want silhouette to be viewed as paying its way.
I was thinking of increasing the fee to $8 per 40 round match, with junior shooters being half price. We do not charge any fee for first time shooters at our match.
With giving half the fee back in prizes I want to charge in even numbers and avoid having to deal with coins.
