DB Leath on Vacation
« on: March 13, 2003, 09:29:27 PM »
Ok for those of you who might care.( I know I know old DB is a pushing it here)  I am about to go on vacation.  I will be leaving early tommorow morning and heading off to Leadville Colorado.   Please pray for me as I will be driving ( something like 16 hours) with 4 kids  8,8,6,6 two wives and Big Daddy B. ( For those of you who dont know him he moderates the Sig Fourm).

Ill be back next Sunday. Its all I can do not to try and find a match to shoot along the way but somehow I think Mrs. DB  ( Who I will give the alias of  Detriot Jewell, a story Ill go into another time) will leave me on the road somewhere between here ( Fort. Worth Texas) and Colorado.

You guys have fun while I am gone.

DB,

The green envy monster has jumped all over me.  Wish I could be headed to Colorado.

If there is any way you can manage a side trip from Leadville, I strongly recommend you try to get up to Craig and see the Museum of Northwest Colorado http://www.museumnwco.org/.  It isn't big, but it has a really outstanding collection of old west guns, clothes, leather, saddles, etc.  I stumbled on it by accident several years ago, and definitely plan to visit it again if ever in the vicinity.

Must be geting old faster than I thought, and starting to slow down. OOOOOOOOOOLD williamlayton is about to pass me up in number of posts.  I'd say something sarcastic, but I was taught to respect one's elders.
