Why is it that kids, or teachers for that matter, in schools today might get stoned for bringing their personal opinions into the classroom especially views on God, but at college a professor can use their platform to shove liberal garbage or anti-theistic views down the throats of their students instead of spending that time educating?

Probably for the same reason that one of my sons had to take a full semester course on "The History of Jazz Musicians" while pursuing a degree in Wildlife Management.
