DURACOAT PAINTING SYSTEM ? On synthetic stock
« on: January 16, 2006, 12:26:41 PM »
Does anyone have any experience with the DURACOAT PAINTING SYSTEM (which is I think like an epoxy type paint) that is sold on Brownells?

I have a synthetic stock that I am thinking of painting camo. I don't want to use "just paint" as that can scratch or wear off, but I am wondering about the ease of use of this product. Is it easy to apply or does it run like the deer that get close to me in the woods? Will it cover well on a synthetic stock or crack like the factory paint on a 62 Rambler?

Any help here would be appreciated. I don't want to spend the $27 and end up with a stock that looks like it came from an old GI Joe comic book.

Thanks

BTW, I do have the air brush

Dave.
