6mm bullet selection, will one weight do it all?
« on: January 16, 2006, 02:22:56 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Recently I posted some questions about the 6mmPPC.

While building that rifle, I've gotten into another project. My gunsmith had a takeoff 6mm remington barrel, and I had a '98 mauser action and laminated stock.........

Anyways, these are the first 6mms' that I've owned or been around, so  my question is; is there an all around weight bullet for both varmints and deer in this caliber?

I'm sure that the PPC will have a rifling twist specifically for the lighter target bulets, but the remington should be agreeable with about anything.

So does anyone have any favorites for their rifles? or any experiences with bullet weights and selections for the sixes?

  Thanks in advance, Rvtrav
