U.S. Repeating Arms that is.  Looks like Browning is purchasing "Winchester" factory and will discontinue production of models 70 & 94.  The end of an era!

Some of your details are wrong, but the plant is closing.  USRA has been foreign-owned for years BTW.

:roll: Sounds like they are shooting themself in the foot.  There have likely been more model 70s and 94s sold than any other single model.  Why give up the golden egg? :shock:

Is it me or have their guns been continuously made cheaper for the past several years?  My old models 70 and 94 seem to be much better guns than the newer offerings.
