New swaging press idea!?
« on: March 15, 2003, 08:01:27 AM »
Hello All, :D

I think it would be nice to have a swaging press that could take the dies body in either the so called up right position, like the Walnut Hill Press or the S-Press, or the downward position, were the die body and the external punch is reversed. This would give the operator the choose of inserting the cup and core in the press up side down or right side up. In some applications the insertion of the cup and core being right side up is handy but in other applications the insertion in the up side down method is convenient. :-D

Do you guys think that a press that the die body and internal punch could be switched with the external punch position could be a useful idea or am I just making smoke? Why or why not? :rain:

YOU CAN DO JUST THAT WITH RICHARDS BENCH MASTER PRESS.   IT HAS TWO 1 1/2 BY 12 HOLES AND ITS DESIGN IS VARY GOOD.
