They load good and shoot same for me. Once fired AAs can be had by the bucket at my club after a shoot. Have not tried to determine max number of reloads since I have a ton of hulls but they seem to last fine.

There has been talk of the inner base wad seperating and possibly causing a problem.  A lot of people myself included have switched to the STS hulls instead of using the new style AA hull.  I know you have to make adjustments to your loader to get a good crimp with the new style hull.
Good Shooting,
George

I reload the HS shells for my 410, and I really like them.  I am only on my 3rd or 4th reload and they seem fine.  A lot of folks are getting 10-12 reloads out of them in the 410.

I have been told that the HS shells are only good for the 410 and 28 guage.  I heard that the 12 ga. HS shells weren't that great, but I have no personal experience with them in 12 ga.

I asked an old-timer at the local trap house the same question and he has reloaded some of them 8 times already, he says if you don't soup-up your loads they should be okay.

I found that to reload the new AAs required playing around with the crimp adjustments on my press. Once adjusted they load just fine but I get a bad one a bit more frequently than I used to get with the old AAs. Once adjusted for the new AAs I find the that the Remingtons STS load fine also with fewer bad ones. The AAs and the Rem STS use the identical recipes. I'll keep loading the AAs and little by little by attrition try to go over to the STS. I find AA hulls more readily available where I trap and skeet shoot than the STS hulls.
Hunting and fishing are not matters of life or death. They are much more important than that.

well that is good news as my local wallmart has been selling 28 guage shells for 6 bucks. I figure when I finish shooting up their inventory I will buy a press for them

I just read an article about these in Shotgun Sports. Win is going to lengthen the 28 & .410 HS hulls out to where the old AA's used to be. This is to make them easier to reload, and is in response to numerous complaints from users.

I have heard of the base wads comming loose and becoming bbl obstructions. I have heard of two burst bbls locally but haven't seen them myself. These appear to only affect the 12ga HS hulls that have been loaded several times. No problems with factory loads.
