First AR-15..Which type of ammo should i start with?

Just bought my first AR-15(Bushmaster M4 w/ Izzy) and i was curious of what type of ammo and bullet grain i should start using? it would be for target practice and zeroing in the sights, any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
