When I shoot one of my rifles, I try to make sure that my eye is looking into the scope the same way all the time. What I do is get up close enough, to make sure that I have the whole field in my sight. But I a
lways make sure that I'm not too close. ( don't want the circle of stitches)
I'm wondering if the problems I have trying to pinpoint dead center, is probably not getting the full picture from the scope. I'm not a person that flinches before I squeeze the trigger. Not even on my 45-70, although I think I need something to put on the stock so my sight is in and I don't have to cock my head over so much to look down the barrel. My shoulder don't mind the recoil, but sometimes my cheek gets a little sore. Is there something I can get for the stock? The only rifles I have a SCOPE ON is the .22, .223, and my 30-30; everthing else is sighted on with the iron sights!
