muskrats and box traps

can anyhelp me locacte box traps that i can use for muskrats and maybe mink, one that is specificly sized for them would be nice.
And i heard from someone that you can snare them under the ice has anyone had any expierience with this? if so how do you set for them?

Cory, I have never used any of the methods you are asking about.A live trap can take a mink now and then,and I would suppose it is also possible for muskrats.There are several better and more effective ways of taking both Muskrats and Mink.

i know but my traps keep freezing and i was looking for a way around this little prolem so i considered box traps

BWB you can use body gripping traps for mink and rats.  You can set them above the ice or on dry land in  trails the animals use coming from water or you can set body gripping traps under water all the way and you can catch rats and mink  in blind type of bottom edge sets.  Rats can be caught by putting white plastic  on body grip triggers.   The muskrat thinks it is a white root and   gets caught investigating it..  If you can get a copy of a book by Ken Smieth  (?spelling?)  of bottom edge sets you will be set to go... possibly  Tom on here has that book  that you can buy from him....
