No not really. I am southern born with an ancestry tracing back to only southern born folks since way back into the days of the Civil War. But am neither a rebel nor a yankee. That war is over for me. We lost. Not happy with that outcome but being unhappy with it doesn't change it. So I'm neither rebel nor yankee. I'm just a southerner.

Born in Maryland.  Lived several years in Maryland, California, Alabama, New Jersey, Oklahoma, Virginia, Arkansas and now back in California.

52% Dixie...right on the Mason-Dixon.  I don't think that test could have been more accurate.   :-)

100% Dixie.  Is General Lee your grandfather?!

I was born a Yankee as was born in Indiana. It was SW Indiana but still a north state.  Moved to Florida at the age of 9 and have lived here for 36 years now.

Confused by the test and couldn't take it.  I know what a Rebel is and I know what a Damn Yankee is but what is a Yankee?  A baseball player?

Put me down for the winning side on this great debate as I am from a Border State. ;D

Took the test, 67% Dixie, I guess living in Ohio since 1985 is starting to change my personality. :P

Scored 94% Dixie.
Probably from living in Alabama for 50+ years.
The 6% must be from 10 months in Wisconsin.
Gotta go fix me some grits and brats.
