Win 97 plug
« on: March 16, 2003, 11:17:41 AM »
Had my 97 out yesterday at the shoot.  Was talking to several pards at the end and we figured out that mine 97 should hold more than 2 in the tube.  They were kind enough to show me how to pull the pin at the top of the tube and after that it was simply unscrewing the two screws that hold the cap on and removing the wooden plug.  Now she will hold one in the chamber and 6 in the tube.  Not that we ever load that many in CAS but there are times that we can load 4.

For those who care, there is a detent alon the length of the pin; you push it in as you are pulling it and out it comes.  Reassembly is even easier as you can see this detent now that it is on the outside.
