Hunts In Texas???
« on: January 24, 2006, 07:27:36 AM »
I live in New Mexico and would like to hunt in Texas. The only problem is that I do not know that anyone who has done so. The limiting factor is of course money.  If any of you have done any hunting in texas please let me know how it went, what you hunted, and of course was it expensive.

thanks

do you know of a good hog hunt (no fences, no dogs) in OK?  I'd be interested.

Check out Reed Ranch. It's about 80 miles south of Dallas. I've been hog hunting there a few times and I'm now a member starting this year.

It's not fancy, the hog hunting is from stands over feeders, and the only fencing is for cattle and doesn't slow down hogs or deer.

Yup I've hunted with Jim at the Reed Family Ranch a couple times. It's a nice fun place. No guarantees of course as it is free range hunting.
