The only thing slower than updating his website is the sped at which he answers his e-mail.  Why list an address if you never answer any inquiries?

Cut Ed a little slack. He can run his business any way he likes to. If you want more current info either give him a call or shop somewhere else. Ed's been offering fair prices on barrels for quite some time and I will continue to check his stock out when I want another.

To each his own. I ended up getting the barrel cheaper from a
local dealer even with tax.

Ed is in his shop right now (Friday) for the rest of the day.
His first day back.

Just bought 2 barrels, a Contender 10" (41 Mag) and Encore 26" (204 Ruger) from him.

Ed can run his business as he sees fit. He may also be the nicest guy in the world. I don't know because I was never able to contact him. First I used the email address. No reply. Then I called and left messages. No reply. Then I fugured it would be hard to forget about a piece of paper so I sent a fax. No reply. Fool me 3 times, shame on me.

You may get helped immediately on you're first try or maybe never. If you want a barrel for sure sometime in the near future or if you're time is worth more than .05 cents an hour then the most expensive barrel available locally is way cheaper than Ed's.

There are many sources for barrels and Ed is one. I have obtained the barrels I wanted elsewhere for a reasonable price. I have nothing against Ed, just trying to inform those that may be in hurry that other avenues are probably better.

I have bought a number of bbls from Ed. I bought a 6" .22lr bbl, it was a bad chop job, when I took off the front sight (it was crooked) the bbl had been re drilled a few times. I called Ed and sent it back for and exchange no questions asked on his part. I usually call his office number and leave a message, I've had him get back in contact with me the same day or in a day or so and he has always called me back. The only complaint I have would be what I have called for he ends up not having in stock. I just don't jump on some of these deals fast enough. Another avenue is to call Ed and leave your name and address and request a current price list. He'd be happy to send one along, just don't take your time if you find something you like. Jerry J.
