reloading for a 204 handi

Would like to know what brass, powder, and bullets to use when reloading for this calibre; also, would like to know some good powder and bullet choices for this calibre?

And any other info....

6t-mile  Welcome to GBO forums,
 My son and I reload for our 204's useing m0stly 32 gr bullets
 BL-c (2) powder cci primers  I use Win case He is useing Rem cases.
 He has started tring Benchmark powder. You can go to Sierra's
 and Hornady's web sites and get reloadind data, or call them,
 We did not have good luck with 40 gr bullets, or not we liked.

well i use bl-c2 a lot in mine but N-140 is what i'm starting to like more . N-140 for me shoot most accurate at near max loads and the speed is said to be way up there . from what i've tried and read the go to powders for the 204 are  Bl-c2, benchmark (i've not tried) and N-140. for brass i use winchester i like it and i've got a lot of it. for bullets , its really determined by what you want to use it for , for blowing up varmints i like the 32 grain V-max, for a coyote i like the 40 grain V-max but i hear a lot of good thing about the berger 35 grain HP.

i chose my load based on accuracy and hide damage for coyotes.

given that, I used:

27.6 grains Varget
35 grain Berger Bullets
Federal 205M primer
Remington Brass

This gets me around .5 MOA, and nearly 3700 fps MV, though i've yet to shoot it through a chrono.

if you want to save the hide, use the bergers.

my hunting partner used a 32 grain vmax on a coyote last sunday.   hit him a little low in the chest, which resulted in an exit wound.  also had a fairly nasty entrance wound, i'd say about the size of a silver dollar.
