i made a breech guide for my buff classic for the cleaning rod i used a 45/70 case driled out through the primer pocket to just a wisker bigger than the rod keep's the rod nice and central.it works realy good.

yep sure is tim they are a little bitt flexie but dont hurt the bore .

What do you all think of Bore-Snakes? Do you think they do as good a job as a rod with brushes and patches? Or, do you think it is only a good "quick fix"?

sharing is wot this site is all about, i love to share ideas,done one out of a shotgun shell as well for my sxs works a treatbeats byeing them nothing like being thrifty lol . mat i have never used a bore snake i have seen them on the net but have not seen any here in west oz from whot i have read they are very good .
