20 GA. Buffered Shot Loads?
« on: January 27, 2006, 07:08:25 AM »
About five years ago I purchased two boxes of Remington Premier shotshells. I purchased these in a Wal-mart store in NC and have not seen them since. I don’t know if the were a special run or just Remington using excess/left over components. The load where 2.5 dram equivalent, 1 ounce of copper plated number six shot with buffering. I used this load for squirrel hunting and it is a good load for that purpose. I would like to duplicate this load in my reloading of the 20 gauge shotgun shells. I have looked at all the powder company loading data and have Lyman Shotshell Reloading Handbook (4th Edition) I can not find any loading data to duplicate this load. If anyone can help with this or a 7/8 oz. 20 gauge buffered load it would be appreciated.

Thanks!
