SKS STOCK
« on: January 27, 2006, 05:15:41 PM »
I purchased a new, in the box Yugo SKS. It has the teakwood stock and I would like to put some kind of finnish on it. I am leaning to the Birchwood Casey tru oil finnish. Any do's or don'ts I should be aware of. It seams to have no finnish on it now so I think it would look better with something on it. Open for suggestions. THANKS

If the stock is clean and dry then go for it.  You can stain it too before you apply the oil finish too its up to you.
