Has any one tried the Talley one piece base/ring set up on a tapered encore barrel? These rings are used on Ultra Light Arms rifles and are made from aluminum. Trying to find a base or ring/base set up that does not hang over the tapered portion of the barrel, creating a gap between the barrel and the bottom of the base, like the one piece warne or weaver bases do.
