Absolutely awsome!

How'd it feel looking down the sights at such a big animal with a revolver? I know you were shooting a very "big" revolver, but it still must have made your blood start pumping harder!

it was the second buffalo ive taken with a handgun so it wasnt guite as exciting as the first time but this time Dad was along and he couldnt believe it. They had it hanging by a fork lift later in the day and he just kept saying he couldnt believe a handgun would do that.  He used to laugh at us for hunting with handguns but he has a new respect for what a proper cast bullet can do to a big animal.

Lloyd,

Congratulations on your second Buff, It does make a difference what bullet you use, Nothing like a good hard cast bullet on a big hairy critter. :D  ...........Joe...........

Where did the bullet enter and where did it exit?

Congratulations Lloyd!  Excellent job!  (pictures?)  Where was that?  Not Michigan I trust.  Anywhere else must have had better weather than the U.P.!  We've had misty rain for two days and all the snow is gone and the creeks are full.  You would think it was March!  44 Man  (hey, I got the engraved Colt 1911 home.  Will have info and pictures soon)
