Thanks Mitchell, I am sure someone here would have an explanation, even if tj did not respond. Why do you think he wanted a faster twist if he is shooting bullets of 52 grains and lighter accurately out of it? I always thought a faster twist would be preferred to shoot heavier bullets (55+ grain) more accurately? Of course my .223 is shooting 55 grain bullets great and I always thought they would be a little to heavy for the 1:12 twist. I tell you buddy, I enjoy reading the manuals but then again sometimes at the bench things happen that there is no accounting for, I would have thought light bullets in a 22-250 would have preferred a slower twist and heavier ones would have preferred a faster twist. Such is the hobby we have chosen, if it were all easy and it all worked as the numbers say all the time it would not be fun...<><.... :?
