Does anybody yet have a Gaucho?  Can anybody give us a report?

The latest issue of Gun Tests pans the Gaucho but touts the Heritage Rough Rider.

Dusty.  I have not yet shot one, but our local dealer has three or four.  I looked them over carefully and was very impressed with the fit and finish.  They had a very nice action also.  I ended up buying a 'New Vaquero' as I wanted it for spinning and they work the best for this.  If I had wanted a gun for looks and function, I would definatly buy a Gaucho.  It's a lot of gun for the money and a lifetime warranty!  44 Man

Please see my post under Taurus handguns.
I too, enjoyed the look and feel of these at the NRA meeting in Houston last year.
They may be OK for cowboy action spitwad loads at 15 feet but won't hold a candle to my RBHs.
Shouda, couda, wooda bought a NV.

I have only fiddled with a number of them at recent gunshows and they all have been very well put together, TIGHT. Given the ground up CAD/CNC development/manufacturing and cheap labor to do a bit of final fitting and QA I would be very surprised if they do not turn out to be fine shooters.
