Is SSK the only place to get loading dies for the 375 jdj? Can these dies be used for the factory T&C barrels? Thanks in advance for any information.

SSK is the only place I know that you can buy true 375 JDJ dies.
but you may be able to call RCBS or hornady and buy direct from them but you will pay more for them. I ordered a custom 375 JDJ neck sizing die from hornady

Check on the auction sights they turn up for sale from time to time

The dies that SSK supplies ar Hornady New Dimension dies.  If you are interested, I have a used set that I no longer have any need for.  They are used, but in decent shape.  I would just need to figure out a price, or I would trade for something.  Make me an offer.  E-Mail me. farlandhr@gorge.net

Thanks for the information.
I was wondering if the Redding 375x444 dies will work for the JDJ.

I really like Redding dies and suspect you do too if you're asking this question. I use the Redding 375x444 for my custom 375x444 barrel. I confirmed with Redding that they were dimensionally a match for the reamer used for my custom barrel - namely 0.456" at the shoulder. They are just as nice as all their other dies.

I believe they should work. You might want to measure your chamber to be sure.  :D

I have a set of Hornady .375 JDJ dies and a set of CH4D .375x444 dies and can't detect a difference---if any difference exists, the brass is then fireformed and headspace and chamber differences will effect the final result----there is a very slight difference for my two barrels---probably because two different frames are used and because of this headspace is also (slightly) different---but I can use the loaded ammo in either barrel if I wish----and since I am using two different bullets, I just leave the dies set accordingly.    8)  :? I have a barrel on the way, and ordered the Redding 375-444 Marlin dies from Midway. Redding confirmed in an e-mail that these are exactly the right dies for a TC factory .375 JDJ barrel.

BillinOregon,

I believe you will be really satisfied with the Redding Dies.  They may cost a little more but they will last a lifetime.
