It has been brought to my attention that I don't have all the Board Sponsers posted on the resource list.

So Sponsors check the Resource list and see if you are listed.

If you aren't please post here and let me know.

Post your contact info and I will update the list.

Also just for sponsors I and going to include a short synopsis of what you offer. So old and new sponsers please post here a synosis of what you have to offer

My records show:

Neff Mahine and Repair who sponsors the Forum and who's banner is at the top of it.

Brooks USA.com who pays to post ads but has no banner.

Dominick Carpenter who pays to post ads but has no banner.

Powder Keg who pays to post ads but has no banner.

Kap Pullen who pays to post as but has no banner.

I think that's the full list of folks who are cannon related who have some level of advertiser involvement at GBO>

DD  I now have 1/2 scale 24 pd. Corhorn Mortars.  These are built to true demensions execpt for being under bored to shoot pop cans.  The bed is painted green, the tube and hardware is Black.

I have test fired one with a pop can full of ice. this will be 2.3 times lighter than concrete filled. Spicific Gravity of concrete is 2.2 that of ice is .9.
360 gr of pryodex 22f will launch a can of ice 700 feet. yesterday I launched my old cordless phone 200 feet then it hit the top of a pole and fell to the earth.  (could not tollerate the phone not working right).

I havent been able to get the Mortars on the web site as of yet.

Thanks and good luck in South Africa.

:D Thought I sent this post last week...I'll try again:

DD: Thanks for the opportunity to let folks know more about us!  We are a small production shop, specializing in machining various products from solid brass rod.  During the past 20+ years our focus has been primarily in building brass tools and valves, mostly designing product to customer specs.

In the past couple of years our customers led us in the direction of making cannon barrels....and we got the fever!    Our nitche is producing
quality signal cannon; small barrels, overbuilt in salute to safety and designed to speak!  We are intriqued by the history of cannon and just keep adding to our offerings. Our website shows the current barrels we are making:  www.brooks-usa.com

We welcome input from GBO members and would like everyone to know we are available for custom projects.

Thanks again,

      Michael

DD,  I Build Cannons ranging in size from 1/2 scale 2.25" bore in a French 75 and civil war carriage to small .41 caliber cannons. I also build Beer can and tennis ball mortars.  So I guess it could say cannon and mortar builder or whatever you think sounds best.  Thanks,  Dom

Okay got Kaps  stuff updated.

Now when you go to the cannon resource board  the first thing you see is the board sponsors.  Make them your first stop for you cannon shooting needs and be sure you tell them thanks for sponsoring our board.

If you contact ony of the other people on the list make sure you tell them you found them on our list.
