I've not noticed anything much at Wal-Mart but the gun store where I do business has had a couple of them in stock and they look like a super buy for the money. I don't think he wanted that much for them tho. I'm thinking his price was closer to $400 on them. I couldn't believe how nice it looked and how well fitted and finished it was at the asking price. Got no clue how it will perform or last but it sure looked to be a bargain.

Mossberg O/U

They are made in Turkey and imported by Mossberg.  Several members of my club have bought them but it is too soon to tell how durable they are.   They do appear to be OK for the price.  I have handled Spartans and Baikals before Remington got involved and they feel clunky and swing like a fence post.  I have't shot a Mossberg yet.

The Turkish OUs are Ok to hunt with but I don't they would hold up as a compitition gun. I would find someplace other than Wallmart to buy one. Support your local gun shop. Shotgunner

Mossberg silver reserve .410

Bought one these really nice looking and feeling OU's in .410 and really like itand . But,,,,The firing pins were dragging the shell and I had to put it over my leg and use force to open the gun.  My gunsmith refit the firing pins and it worked great for another 100 skeet targets but now the latch that opens it is stuck oopen and the top firing pin is sticking out.  He charged $45 initially and will rework it free but this might be typical of all and my not be...  If you really want a problem get one of the BSA 28 guages from Zanders that are turkish Berettas and I will guarantee you will spend as much as $200 but it will be flawless after that.  Refer to my post on shotguns and wing shooting.  Total out of pocket is still under $600 but its worth it in my opinion.   Luck...
