Approx what year did Marlin introduce the bolt hold-open featrue on their Model 60 rifle? Thank you.

The patent file date was in 1982. United States Patent 4455919. I've read reports of them coming out on the 1983 models.

Thank you. Wow, there are a lot of OLD Model 60s still on the used gun market. Since I have become a fan of the 60's, I see the old ones all over the shops and gunshows.

I have a Glenfield 75 with no S/N (pre 68) that has a manual hold open feature, or are you talking about last shot hold open?
