Sourdough, and markc,
Just purchased an 06 TRV with the Kimpex Tracks System, in December 05. They are both GREAT! Now I can use my 4 wheeler 12 months out of the year.
Haven't had much of a snowy winter here in upstate new york. First time out we were able to try it out in snow. Handling was good, and even my 5'2" wife was able to manuever it just fine. Second time out all of the snow had melted, and only brown and green was on the ground. It is definately harder to steer on the bare ground. Still not too bad, as long as it was under power.
What I liked was the fact, that on bare ground, you could just barely tell where the four wheeler had traversed. You'll bust a gut, and the steering too, if you try to turn those 14" front tracks, without having it under power.
The TRV with the tracks installed, measures about 9 feet long, and about 56 inches wide. That's one heck of a stable footprint.
Would I do it all over again? You Bet!!!!
